The Magnolia Christmas Collection 2011 has so many amazing stamps. They all go so great together, and it will give your card an extra nice look. So to mask a stamp you need the things on the picture:
- Scissor - Ink - Stamps - Water Color Paper - Acrylic block - Paper bag - Knife - Tape -
The first thing you do is to stamp the stamp you want to have in the front. So the background comes last. I stamped mine on water color paper because I use water colors to color my stamps. I also use StazOn ink, in the color Timer Brown.
This is stamped on the middle of the paper because I want her, Tilda, in the middle of my background.
Than I stamp her again just on a really thing paperbag.
Use your scissor to cut the stamp. Be sure to be accurate as possible. Than as much as possible of your stamp will show. Use some time to cut the stamps, and keep them. You can use them again.
There you can see that my stamp has been cut.
Attach a small piece of double-sided tape on the back of your paper-bag Tilda and place here on the top of the one on the water color paper.
Choose your background and ink it.
Than place it on the top. Make sure you do a couple of adjustments before you press it down. The first time I did this I placed Tilda inside the house. So the next time I made sure that her feet where futher down than the end of the door.
There it´s done.
Remove your paper-bag Tilda. Make sure you do it slowly, because the tape can take of some of the water color paper, and you don´t want that.
There you go. Your stamp is ready to get painted.
