For my second "job" at Ett Trykk I was assigned a sketch. I chose to make big card so I could give it to my little sisters 20-year birthday. I have flipped the sketch and added some elements. It ended up being 7,5"x6". So a big card with plenty of room to write on.
My card is created by using Maja Design papers. The purple papers are from The Vintage Spring Collection, while the pink paper is from The Vintage Summer collection. The stamp is an old stamp I borrowed from my friend Elin. It's from Lily of the Valley, called Birthday Balloons. To cut out my stamp I have used a Life Style Craft dies, "Rectangle". The stamp is colored with Copics. You can see the colors above this image.
I have used a Martha Stewart punch to make the border, "Scalloped Dot". The little heart with my bow in is a dies from Magnolia called TL12, Tea label Shapes. The bow is made of Seam binding in the color White Winter with a piece of hemp string and a purple button from Paper Tray Ink. On the card I have also used laces from Bikuben and a doily from Royal Design. The cute little wooden numbers are from the online shop upstairs.no. The little pearls are from Kaiser Craft.
As you can see on the back I like to keep it the same style. The inside of the card is also identical to the front and back, only with personal text to my chosen recipient, my little sister. On the back it says Happy Birthday in norwegian. The stamp is from the norwegian crafter and designer Gunhild at Stempelglede. I have also used the same stamp as in the front, from Lily of the Valley. I used a homemade mask with post-it-notes to isolate the other mice so I could have only a small little detail on the back. The papers and the embellishments are the same.
